Polish Addict Nail Color Lime Light and Neon Moon

Hey guys!

Today I have two polishes from Polish Addict Nail Color. These babies are from her recent Neon Collection and are jellies and oh so lovely!

First is Neon Moon, a gorgeous cobalt jelly. I don't know what the heck happened to my other pictures of this! But it's so vibrant in person! Really really lovely. This was 3 coats.

And then we have Lime Light, a bright green neon jelly. This was 3 thin coats. Again, much brighter in person!

These were both easy to apply. A little sheer on the first coat, but they built up nicley. These swatches are without topcoat and they did dry semi matte, as most neons do.

You can purchase Polish Addict Nail Color here.

Bestie Twin Nails with The Little Canvas!

Hey Guys!

Alaina of The Little Canvas and I had so much fun doing our last BTN, we thought we would make it a regular occurrence!

This month, we wanted to do something fruity so we choose watermelons! Now, you'll know that I don't do nail art, I'm just not good at it and I'm using this as a way to expand my nail art horizons.

I saw this picture from The Nailasaurus and didn't even know there was a tutorial until just looking up the link right this second, lol. Of course the way she did it is easier :-p

I started with a base of Wet n Wild Contact High and then used a small brush to paint the white. I need to get a better white (mine was just a random bottle), it was quite thick and goopy. Then I used Cupcake Polish It's Not What You Pink and Wet n Wild black for the seeds. I didn't really love these at first but they definitely grew on me and I'm quite pleased with how they turned up!

Now go look at Alaina's post because her nails are awesome!

Rainbow Honey Summer Mix Tape Swatches!

Hey guys!
*polishes provided for free in exchange for my honest opinion*

Today's post is all about Rainbow Honey! I have three polishes from the upcoming Summer Mixtape collection! Oh man, remember mix tapes? Those were the days. I loved making mixes for car trips, or even just to play on the way to work. I still make playlists for road trips, just on my iPhone ;-) One of the first interactions my husband and I had was over a mixed CD he made for me; I swear that was 'his move' to initiate conversation but he denies this :-p

ANYWAY, onto the polishes!

Fall In Love, a cool toned crimson red jelly with sparks of blue iridescence. This looked a little more magenta/berry in person. I used 2 coats. The formula was easy to apply.

Control, a hot shimmering fuchsia. The formula on this was a bit thick but nothing unmanageable. I used two coats. Super bright Barbie pink with shimmer!!

Lanterns, a luminescent blend of iridescent and translucent glitters. I used one coat over Fall in love and Control. I think this will look especially great over darker colors, as well!

With Flash over Fall In Love:

Over Control:

Overall, I loved these polishes. These are perfect "Amanda" colors and I will definitely be using these for the summer! I can't wait to see the rest of the collection!

These polishes along with the rest of the collection are available on July 18 from rainbowhoney.com! Use code MIXTAPE20 to get 20% off your order! Hurry, this code expires 8/31/14!

SinfulColors Silk + Satin Swatches

Hey guys!
*polishes were provided for free in exchange for my honest opinion*

Today I have 3 of the 6 polishes from the Sumer 2014 Silk + Satin Collection from SinfulColors.

"This new demi-matte silk texture in summer brights is a must have fashion accessory. In rich matte shades and lustrous textures, they're guaranteed to add a little sunshine to your summer style."

All of these were fairly sheer, I used three coats with each polish to build up opacity but they built up quite easily from the second to third coats.

First, Solar Flux, a subtle yellow.

Prime Purple, a lilac purple.

Pipaya, a soft coral. This was more of an orange leaning red. Very pretty!

SinfulColors has been quite consistent with their releases and formulas lately and at $1.99, you cannot beat the price!

These are available at Walgreens and mass retailers now!

SinfulColors Full Throttle Swatches

Hey guys!
*polishes were provided for free in exchange for my honest opinion*

Today I have 3 of the 5 polishes from the SinfulColors Summer 2014 Full Throttle Collection. These polishes are rubberized textures.

The formula on all 3 of these polishes was very nice. It was not thin and very easy to work with; almost no cleanup was needed! The colors available are very race car-ish, as well!

First up, Rain Rubber. This "brilliant burnout blue" is my kind of color (but you know this, if you have read my blog at all... I love my blues!)

The other two polishes were worn together, Rubber Ball and Race Rubber (pink and red, respectively).

If you are not a fan of textures, have no fear: the texture on these polishes is very minimal and I don't think it would be offensive to those who don't love texture on their nails.

These polishes are available at Rite Aid and Walgreens for summer 2014.
